Do you still have an error?

What happens if you create a brand new InfoPath form and try to add user roles?

Not sure what you meant by "export to a SQL table" -- if you mean save the data from the XML for the template in SQL, you should check out our web services -- DBXL provides this functionality (and a whole lot more). Otherwise your options for getting your form data to SQL are: create the template based off the database, write your own web service, or write code. Adding code to your form or writing your own web services adds a pretty high maintenance cost -- binding your form to your DB creates a tight coupling that is generally undesirable.

Re: Published infopath 2003 form with user roles to a sharepoint site

nobody can help me with this?
Published infopath 2003 form with user roles to a sharepoint site

hello, i'm new in using sharepiont and infopath

my first question.

i'm using the absence request form. and i want to add user roles to the form and then publish it to a sharepoint services 3 site.

when i add a user in the "add user role" and click on the icon next to the texbox it gives me this error: The program cannot open the required dialog box beacause no locoation can be found.

and when i publish it to the SP site when i try to open it from the SP site it gives me this error:

Your user name or group membership cannot be verified because the form's security settings do not permit it.

how can i fix this?

second question:

is this possible:

i want to change the manager section in the absence request form in this scenario:

i need a query that when the user open the form the name of the user his manager appears in the manager name textbox. so the user does not have to fill in the name of the manager him self.

i know you can create a workflow, that when you submit, it can send a mail to the manager. but in my case not every user has the same manager.

my 3rd question:

can i export the absence request form to a sql server 2005 table?

thnx,
