If you want to go the browser-based InfoPath form route, you could use

Office 365 - E3 and E4 plans include InfoPath

Qdabra FormsBoard instead of SharePoint

You can also look into SharePoint list forms, which are non-InfoPath electronic forms

Re: SharePoint 2007 and InfoPath 2010 integration

Hi,

I am currently starting to use Sharepoint 2010 Foundation, and I want to utilize Infopath 2010 to make forms for my employees to fill out. If I'm reading the book I'm using correctly, I can't have anyone fill out a form created in Infopath unless they have Infopath on their computer? (because we don't have Sharepoint Server) Is there any known workaround for this or am I going to be limited to the out of the box forms, which are kind of basic for what I need.

Thanks

Re: SharePoint 2007 and InfoPath 2010 integration

Hello Ernesto,

Thank you for your response.

I am newbie at infopath and its
been 3-4 months I have started learning and also designing infopath
forms for use on sharepoint site.

We already had a certain
workflow designed using IP2007 and we are working on implementing a
changed workflow. So we were considering using InfoPath 2010, so just
concerned if the success of this new deployment would be dependent on
using a newer version of sharepoint as well.

Also, we are
concerned : would the the InfoPath version (MS office version) on all
the clients's computers have to be revamped to the new version 2010, for
our workflow to work without hiccups?

Thank you

Re: SharePoint 2007 and InfoPath 2010 integratio

Designing a form in InfoPath 2010 and publishing it for use in MOSS 2007 should be entirely possible.
