I have a library of forms which contain the fields Branch and Division. I have a separate list which has a list of users, the branch or division they are responsible, and their level of security (1 to 4). It means that people who have a level of 2 can see all the documents in the division they are responsible for and level 3s can only see the branches they are responsible for.

To do this, I've had to create a hidden section in the form with the list of users as a repeating table data connection, then concatenates the list of users filtered by security level and the branch or division given in the current form. This means I can create a view where it can be filtered to show only where the current user is in the concatenated field of peopel with security access.

It works well, but the only problem is that if you add a new person to the list of responsible people, then their name isn't added to the field with the list of people with security access in existing forms. They will only be able to see the forms created after their name has been added to the list.

I hope this makes some sense, but the main problem is the field with the the list of users needs to be updated in existing forms without having to open and resave them all. Is this at all possible, given that this field gets its data from a sharepoint list?

TIA
