So you know for next time, if you create a new thread, we are more likely to see it. Also, did you notice the "Errors" node in the QdabraRules data source? That can help with trouble shooting -- it will return any errors.

Re: UpdateListItem SP

Just wanted to follow-up that I was able to find the issue. In going through the demo, I had set the id field to be an Integer. Turns out, that was the problem. Setting the id to be a text field solved the problem. Now the id number populates within the form and when information is changed and the form is re-submitted, it is updated in SharePoint rather than creating new items. Thanks, Stuart

Re: UpdateListItem SP

Thank you for creating this demo. I have followed the instructions exactly, but the list items in SharePoint are not being updated, they are being duplicated each time the form is submitted. I am relatively new to InfoPath, so if there were any other steps necessary to accomplish the id field being populated by SharePoint that were not mentioned in your demo, could you please provide them? When I created the id field, I specified it as an Integer. I have read through the thread above, and the one person solved their problem by "promoted the SPList fields in my SPLibrary", but unfortunately, I don't know what that means. I would appreciate any help you could provide. If there is any additional information I can provide or screenshots that would help troubleshoot my issue, please let me know and I'll post them right away. Thanks, Stuart

Re: UpdateListItem SP

Only in the datasource -- you don't need to display it in the form.
