The Infopath form that I have developed is a contract document, which should be forwarded through WF notication emails role by role..there are 7 roles like requester, legal, invoice person, etc..
And these roles i m talking about are at sharepoint groups at site level.
The form should be editable only to a person it is assigned to and at every WF step/user role, they have to fill few mandatory fields before they promote it to next level by clicking on Submit button and approving at WF task approval page by clicking on "Edit this Task" button.
But here, with the "Edit this Task" button being available..users can click on "Edit this Task" button without clicking on "Submit" button.

So I have to, restrict the user to edit the task only after they submit the form.

Do we have any event when user clicks on "Edit this Task" fires or is there any way to hide/delete "edit this task"?
BTW, I am using nintex WF.

And about Infopath, WF integration, I didnt find any useful explanation over Internet. Help !!

Re: Hide/disable "Edit this Task" button

Hi MossDev1,

Well, you could just turn off SharePoint WF and use InfoPath rules and conditional formatting to do your workflows. In-form workflow is just as powerful as SharePoint workflows.

Sorry for not having a better explanation of how WF is hijacking InfoPath.

I have all the validations on the "Submit" button of the form and only then I should allow users to respond to the task.I have succeeded in disabling all the menus, taskbars except this "Edit this Task" option on Infopath form.

Is there any way, I can break the relation between Infopath and WF..actually how are they interacting each other?
