Data View Using SharePoint Designer

Hello All,

I am using SharePoint Designer 2007 to create a view of an Infopath 2007 Leave Request form that users submit to a SharePoint document library. I have promoted two fields which are the Approved and Disapproved fields to be edited in SharePoint. The approved and disapproved fields are checkboxes. I created a data view in SharePoint Designer so that the users can edit the approved and disapproved fields from the sharepoint website. However, when I try to create the approved and disapproved fields in the data view and then change them to checkboxes it makes the values of the checkbox true and false. I need the values to be yes and no. But when I go to try to change the code in SharePoint Designer I get an error which states "Cannot create object type of 'System Boolean' from its String representation 'No' for 'Checked' property." Someone please help.
