I don't mind if there's code in the form(s), I just don't want to be the one who has to write it. I'll check it out. Thanks!

Re: Retrieve and act on items from a list

thanks Patrick,

Qdabra has already taken care of that, and i got a complimentary copy of qrules 2.0.

Any ways, this site has been very helpful to me, although i never posted a question on this site that is because whenever i had a question i always found something similar to that answered earlier

and for this poster, if he uses qrules, he wont have to write custom code himself, even though qrules will be injecting its dlls, that will only change the way he has to publish the form, rest functionality will be same for him

Re: Retrieve and act on items from a list

Thanks Qazi Anis!

qRules can do that, but even though you don't have to write any code to use it, qRules itself is code so that might not work for this poster. Who knows. Anyway, as a reward for helping so many people in this forum, you can have a free version of qRules 2.0. Just send e-mail and it's yours! :)

Re: Retrieve and act on items from a list

this is not possible without code, unless you use qRules. I think there is some functionality in qRules that can do this. Might be somebody using qRules can throw more light on this

Retrieve and act on items from a list

I'd like to make a table that pulls data from a sharepoint list. Each row of the table would be a different record from the list.

I'd then like the user to be able to, for example, act on each row. Let's say there's a radio button in each row of my table with two options - approve and reject. Then the user can scan through my table, selecting approve or reject for each row then submit the changes on those rows back to my sharepoint list in one fell swoop.

Possible without code?
