I also facing the same problem like as Tanimul vai. I open a infopath form with mail then submit it in a sharepoint form library using a data connection behind infopath form.

But when i try to open this form from sharepoint form libray then show an error (like path is different location...). Please reply me as early as possibe if you have any solutions.

Please tell me how to send a view to mail recipient..

My original and basic question, is it possible to open a form in Outlook 2007??, the form is published in a form library in MOSS 2007. I don't want to publish it to mail recipients..

Thanks in advance..
Re: Problem in opening form from a form library submitted through Outlook 2007

Use links to open the forms from SharePoint. Don't send them in Outlook as attachments, just send the view. That should solve your problem. To construct the links, you may need to add some rules to your forms. I have a blog post coming in a week or so that details how to do this. Good luck!

Problem in opening form from a form library submitted through Outlook 2007

Hi,

I am developing a leave application. leave form is designed in IP 2007. Users will enjoy 2 provisions for submitting the form- either from MOSS 2007 form library using 'New' link OR in Outlook 2007 he will open the form, fill it up and send it to form library. a workflow will kick-off once the form is submitted in the form library. So far I am able to submit it using both of the provision. Problem is that, when the form is submitted via Outlook 2007 the form is sotred in the form library, workflow starts but I am not able to view the form from the form Library. it shows the following error --

"The form can not be opened because it is in different site collection ..." -- error message is very similar to this

The leave form has a SharePoint library submit data connection. The form is first published to form library, next the same form is published to email recipient so that the form can be opened from outlook 2007. Am I doing wrong? Is there any way to open the form from Outlook without publishing it to email recipient? Or, how can I open a form from SharePoint form library directly in outlook 2007?? Finally if my approach is wrong, please suggest me how can I accomplish my procedure..having 2 provision for submitting the leave form??
