So, in theory i should be able to just create a data connection to get the approval status from sharepoint, and set the conditional sql mapping to only shred if this field = 0 (approved)?

Re: Approval Workflows and DBXL

Hi Matt, it sounds like conditional shredding is the solution for you. Check it out.

Approval Workflows and DBXL

Hi,

I'm trying to create a very simple approval workflow, whereby the user will submit the form for approval and once approved, it will then be shredded in to the database.... currently the approval workflow starts but the document is automatically shredded striaght away before it has been approved.

Is it possible once submitted to the dbxl webservice that it is only shredded into the database after the document has been approved?

If not, what is the easiest way to achive what i am trying to do?

Thanks in advance!
