Check out Figure 8 in my blog post:

InfoPath - User Roles in Browser-Enabled Forms Using AD Groups

Validating data from sharepoint list

I need to check if a user exist against a SharePoint list to
make certain field visible. So I put something
like this in the expression of conditional formatting ..../@SP_list != current_user, but somehow the condition is
always true, not matter user exists or not, but if put ..../@SP_list = current_user, then it works. So seems like
its working for equal to but not working if the condition is not equal to, but what I need is not equal to. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Thank you,

Arya
