Use the following expression to count the number members.

count(/my:myFields/my:group1/my:group2[my:field2 != ""])

Just add a filter to count only the fields which are not empty.

Here /my:myFields/my:group1/my:group2 is a repeating table xpath.

repeating tables & count

Hi !

here's my problem :

i use 4 repeating tables for my subscription form where people have the choice to add members
Then I display the names in a column (i use the "merge" function) but i also need to know the amount of people so i add a new column & use the "count" function

BUT

some repeating tables are optional but my count function still return a "1" even if the first field is empty, it's logic i know but i want a "0" or nothing...

Can somebody help me with this case ?
