I have created a form that creates XML files (people resumes) on a sharepoint form list. I have also creates a XSLT page that I use to generate the corresponding WordML document, that I then save as a Word document. Everything works well yet, I'd like to create a button in my infopath form that would do the transformation automatically.

Indeed, right now, I have to do all the following:

Download the XML from Sharepoint on my desktop.

Right click on the XML and open with Microsoft Word (2003).

Select the XSL from a location on Sharepoint (a URL)

Save As Microsoft Word document.

Since this form is supposed to be used by anyone in the company, then I'd like to create a button that does all the above as in:

Open MS Word automatically

Loads the XML as a WordML

Apply the XSL to the XML

Saves the file as a Word Document (optional)

One of the requirements here is that the XSL file must remain as a file in sharepoint and therefore accessed via a URL. I don't want to add it to the infopath form as an object as this creates problems with the autonaming of XMLs generated and saved on Sharepoint and it complicates the version tracking.

Any help is most welcome.

Thanks
