When I updated the content type with a few more columns (promoted), they didn't show up in the library for some reason. I even tried creating a new library, but it would still use the old version of the content type, even as the xml file created by the form contained the new fields. So, what I did was upload the content type under a different name, add it to the form library and delete the old one. Unfortunately, the Infopath columns of the old content type were not deleted (even though I cleaned the library of data before the operation) and still hang there, inaccessible, creating duplicate entries in the "item properties" list, annoying the developers of our workflow solution.

So, I'd like to know if this is a bug of some kind, whether it'll be fixed any time soon and whether there are any workarounds other than a complete wipe of the contaminated libraries.

PS: We're using Infopath 2007 with SharePoint Server 3.0 in our enterprise.
