Do you happen to know any alternatives to the qdabra webpart if I’m not able to get the webpart installed on the server?
Can you ask the heavy lifters if there is a way to upload/link the form in DBXL to a SharePoint site without the webpart installed? Normally, you can publish the form to a Form Library but I’m not sure how that would work with the qdabra shredding. I know I can add another rule to submit/save the form to the SharePoint site but I need customers to update the form quite frequently. Thanks again for your help!

I wanted to post the gist of our offline conversation here in case it can be of benefit to someone else. It appears that yes, you do need access to the server that SharePoint is on to install the web part. Installation instructions for the web part can be found here, in the DBXL installation documentation, about halfway down the page.

Re: MyFormsWebPart question ...

Thank you for the reply. While this article is helpful, I'd rather not have to reinvent the wheel. I had thought the MyFormsWebPart was an existing .dwp file that I could just import but it doesn't appear to be that way (unless I'm mistaken). And of course, sharepoint just says, you cannot import this file. Thanks M$, that REALLY helps...

I'm still wondering how others get the MyForms web part to work (without access to the SharePoint server).

Thank you!

I recently ran the qdabra myforms web part.msi and it installed correctly (or so it tells me when I try to reinstall it), but I can't seem to figure out how to add the webpart to my sharepoint site. I figured I could browse to the .webpart or .dwp but I can't seem to find it. Has anyone else installed the qdabra web part and added it to a wep part page on their sharepoint site?

Thank you!
