InfoPath 2003 and MOSS 2007

I have published InfoPath 2003 form into MOSS 2007 Form Library. My question is why when I create new document (in form library), the ‘File Download’ prompt come out, that means I need to download the form into my local work station right? So when I save the form, it not saves directly into the MOSS 2007 Form Library, but in my local station.

But if I used InfoPath 2007 to create and publish document, when I create new document, the form will appear without need to download into local work station. And when save, it saves directly to the MOSS 2007 Form Library.

I will really appreciate if someone can explain to me why it is different? I really need the advice.
