Welcome to the forum.

I would like to learn more about your solution. We have done several clinical note solutions with 50K plus forms.

We have used SQL and webservices to store and secure the notes, with HIPAA compliant audit tracking etc. I am wondering how you have addressed the issues with SharePoint only.

I use Remote Desktop all of the time and would not think that would have a bearing on this except for your IP lock down.

If you have some time to discuss, you can send me an email with the contact button.

RDT Publishing

We've developed an application that uses WSS 3, and InfoPath 2007 to process medical records.

In order to secure the records, one of our precautions is to only allow access to WSS from a preapproved static IP(s). One of the allowed static IP addresses is our Terminal Server.

Try as we might, and we've tried mightly, we can not Publish a form from Design mode from a remote desk top session.

The error message seems to be an old favorite: "InfoPath can not save the following form http://...... This document library was either renamed or deleted, or network problems are preventing the file from being saved. If this problem persists contact your network administrator."

The form was originally published to the WSS form lib from the intranet.

Just to make sure that it wasn't something particular to our terminal server or WSS installation, I logged onto a RDT session on a hosted server at a completely different data center and accessed a completely different WSS installation. I then created a WSS form lib using IE and the WSS UI. Having created the form lib, I opened the "Advanced Setting", edited the "template" via the hyperlink, made changes, saved the changes locally on the RDT, and then attempted to publish the form from design mode in the InfoPath client in the RDT session. Same error message as above. I then tried all Full Trust, with a newly created cert, Domain, and Automatic, Security settings. Same error message.

But all is not lost. Yet a third RDT / WSS installation in a third data center works perfectly! Using the procedure I just described. For the life of us we can not figure out why.

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
