Two options I can think of.

Take the segmented list and break it up your self using the string-before function.

Or replicate it yourself. It is a static list in SharePoint so you could enterit statically in your form or create another SP list which is just your values and pull from there.

Best Practice IMHO is to use a database instead, with the Database Accelerator Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.1 - Developer

Retrieve Sharepoint Multiple Line List Object as Multiple Items in any Control

I am fairly new and InfoPath so if this is easy I apologize.

I have a list in Sharepoint. One of the columns is a multiple line object. I would like to take those multiple lines and make them each a multiple line in a list or drop down box in InfoPath. When I connect and receive the data right now, it just puts all of the multiple lines in a run on type form with a space inbetween each one. I'd prefer to avoid code unless its absolutely necessary. I've tried formatting the controls to allow for paragraph breaks.

I guess what I am looking for is an "un merge" type option. I can take a repeating section and submit it to a sharepoint list in a merge format and it takes each control and makes it a new line in the multiple line format. But I would also be able to like to read this info back into a different form and display each multiple line as its own line in a control or in separate controls themselves.

Is this possible? Am I not being specific enough?
