The theory is pretty straightforward in standalone infopath environments but when it comes to implementing this on our corporate sharepoint server it becomes more complicated :(

Having done some reading on querying and submitting data from infopath to a database on the web it would seem that web services are the way forward. However, here comes the problem - All of the articles I have read on making this work assume administration rights to the sharepoint server. This is something I don't have given the fact that it's a company server on the company network. My rights as a user extend to being able to create a new site.

Is there a workaround or any pointers people can give me?
