You have come to the right place for your XML and InfoPath questions - we are the best in the world!

The easiest way to do this would be to just add a data connection to the SharePoint list and pull everything down into a secondary DOM. After that is done you can use this tutorial to populate based on a selection in the form:
<br /http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=9111ef580f95479890fc18fb2c5bac85

If your ShP list is small this will work fine, but if it is big then you should probably use code to only query what you want. This is going to be hard since you will be working with CAML, but it's doable. Let me know if you want to start moving in that direction.

Quering SharePoint List

Dear Experts,

I apologize for maybe newbish questions, but I'm totally new to XML and InfoPath. Here are my questions.

I have to display some info stored in SP list based on the selection field in the form. Is it possible to do it? I've seen a tutorial here how to do this with some programming, but I do not have Visual Studio installed.

Thank you very much!
