Unfortunately, with SharePoint (both 2003 and 2007) you can't change the read permissions programmatically based on the state of a field in the form (or the fact that it has been submitted).

Two options:
1) you can e-mail the form to a SharePoint address and SharePoint will automatically extract the form and save it to a library that is read only. I believe this is only supported in 2007 and it does open up your SharePoint site to e-mail spam, etc.
2) Buy our Qdabra Database Accelerator Web service and store the forms in SQL. Using the Permissions feature set it up to dynamically change the read permission based on save.

Please contact me if you have any questions or want more information.

Regards,

InfoPath Form in Sharepoint Forms Library

Ellen O. But that will give the user read access.

We thought about having it email FROM a non person email account but we can't change the mail form..

Any help would be appreciated.
