I also discovered that if you create a shortcut to the form template and upload the shortcut to the document library, the shortcut appears as a .xsn file in that document library, which I find much more comfortable than breaking apart the original set of files.

So, thanks anyway.

Multiple Templates

Hello. I am fairly new to Infopath, so I apologize for the newbie type question.

I have developed about 8 Infopath forms for our helpdesk ranging from system access request to account change-- on and on. These forms include hyperlinks to one another, they are pretty detailed/lengthy forms, but nothing off the wall. Everything is standard InfoPath controls with drop downs connected to SharePoint lists. I didn't get crazy and try to make the application do something it should not do out of the box.

My project owner wants all of these forms to be placed into an existing "Policy document library". He has requested that I take the template portion only of the form, give the copy of the template a meaningful name (ie SystemAccessRequest.xsn), and add the new/renamed file to the existing policy document library.

Well, I have done this. Now I have several users who can open some, but not all of the forms. At what point did the form break? Can it be fixed?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Wendy
