The value for the date is being set in InfoPath, and no matter how I change the format in InfoPath, the value stored in SQL is a date with a time appended, so I am not sure how to make the timestamp not get stored. For ex. In InfoPath, the date is set to be: 2006-08-10. The value stored in SQL is: 8/10/2006 5:00:00 AM
Any ideas?

Re: Dates in SQL are appending a time stamp

Hello

Read the link below to help with date fields in SQL<br /http://www.aspfaq.com/show.asp?id=2023

Hope it helps you.
Dates in SQL are appending a time stamp

Does anyone have any idea why SQL would be appending a timestamp to a date from InfoPath. The datepicker control in my IP form is set to only show just the date (mm/dd/yyyy). The dates show up correctly in SharePoint, but when I try to run a report in SQL, the same date will have the date with a time added to it (mm/dd/yyyy 5:00:00 AM) This will not allow me to query the data correctly because of the timestamp.

Thanks!
