That mean that I would like to create a specific table on the SQL Server and then, in a site, use forms able to add/modify records in that table.
Is that possible ?
Does anyone proceeded to this ?
Do I have to design the form directly on the server ?
Because when I'm designing a form on my local PC if I chose a SQL server as reference in the Datasource, I have to chose a SQL server recognized and available from my location at devel time...
And...
The SQL server used on my SharePoint server is not reachable at that moment...
Of course We can develop web parts in .NET technology but it would be rather quicker to use InfoPath if possible...

Thanks in advance for your advises...

Best regards.
