I don't think your WSS issues have anything to do with InfoPath. Sorry, but we're really busy trying to help people with InfoPath...

Help! I broke it! Since then, WSS has been badly broken:

Surfing to the URL no longer works, the Default.aspx isn't found. Yes, it IS in the default document list - in fact it's the ONLY thing in there. If I add /Default.aspx to the URL, all is fine (well, with THIS problem anyway).

Changing themes does not stick.

Images we'd previously added to the site are no longer there. In fact, I can't even find them on the server any more.

I can no longer download any documents from the Shared Documents repository, they all end up as 'not found' when I attempt download. They also don't exist on the HDD of the server, but I'm assuming that's because they only exist in the database?

All in all, SOMETHING has gone badly wrong, and I'm lost. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have a feeling that it all went pear-shaped when my engineer fiddled with Application Pools within IISAdmin, but have been down that road and didn't get anywhere.

General discussions and to-do lists are all working fine.
