I achieved this with the excellent On-demand WebCasts from Microsoft. i dont know if you like webcasts but for me this was the ticket! Long URL coming up:
<a href='http://www.microsoft.com/events/AdvSearch.mspx?EventsAndWebcastsControlName=As1%3AAdvSrc&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AAudienceID=0&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AProductID=6b0da5b8-b60f-44ed-9ed0-a0c920d514cd&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AEventType=OnDemandWebcast&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ACountryRegionID=en%7CUS%7CUnited+States&StateProvinceID=0&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ATimeframeID=-1&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ASearchFilter=%C2%A0+Go+%C2%A0' target='_blank' title='http://www.microsoft.com/events/AdvSearch.mspx?EventsAndWebcastsControlName=As1%3AAdvSrc&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AAudienceID=0&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AProductID=6b0da5b8-b60f-44ed-9ed0-a0c920d514cd&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AEventType=OnDemandWebcast&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ACountryRegionID=en%7CUS%7CUnited+States&StateProvinceID=0&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ATimeframeID=-1&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ASearchFilter=%C2%A0+Go+%C2%A0'http://www.microsoft.com/events/AdvSearch.mspx?EventsAndWebcastsControlName=As1%3AAdvSrc&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AAudienceID=0&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AProductID=6b0da5b8-b60f-44ed-9ed0-a0c920d514cd&As1%3AAdvSrc%3AEventType=OnDemandWebcast&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ACountryRegionID=en%7CUS%7CUnited+States&StateProvinceID=0&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ATimeframeID=-1&As1%3AAdvSrc%3ASearchFilter=%C2%A0+Go+%C2%A0

enjoy
//AndersR

Re: Where do I start

Hi,

The best book for start is Developping solutions with infopath. This book speak about all the things that can made with infopath it is very complete (Sharepoint, database, webservice integration and all the thinks to know about infopath )! I don't think that there is any book that can replace this one (for the moment)!

You can have more information here
<br /http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0735621160/ref=ase_infopathdev0b-20/102-4955392-9976968

++

Thierry

Every moment hesitated is a moment gone for life!!! I have played with Infopath a bit and even made one form that you can fill out and save to a library. I want to take it to the next level. I need people to be emailed when someone fills out a form etc. I really want to try and build a workflow with Sharepoint and Infopath. For example we have a New Hire form. When the form is filled out by HR, I need the IT dept to get notified so that we can order the equip, create the accounts, etc. Then I would like it to go the Office Manger who will make sure the employee gets pens, paper etc.

I have been trying to track down some information, but there is so much info its tought to sift through.

Does anyone have some good books, website, etc to start with maybe with some tutorials etc.

Or am I crazy since I am NOT a developer. Is this way to tough for a non programming person to tackle?
