I now need to decommission that server and migrate everything to a new server running Sharepoint 2013 but still keep my DIPs .

Can anyone explain to me how to do this? I have spent hours and hours trawling the internet, and cannot find anything relevant. But surely, it is not an uncommon thing to do to upgrade / replace a server and / or a Sharepoint site.

Any help or suggestions will be most gratefully received!

Thanks,
