Responsible with a rule on the Solution field. You need to add a rule to your main data source Solution field that will set your main data source Sol. Responsible field. When you select the value you'll be setting Sol. Responsible to, you need to click the filter data button and add a filter in order to get back the "right" Sol. Responsible for the selected Solution. If you need a hand, feel free to attach your form under the Options tab in a reply.

Use two values from Sharepoint in a dropdown

Dear all at this wonderful forum,

I have created two dropdowns in my InfoPath form.

At these dropdowns, I can select values from the column 'Solution' and the column 'Sol. Responsible' - information taken from a Sharepoint site.

What I would like to do:

I would like if I in some way only need to choose one of the values/information, meaning e.g. when one have selected from the first dropdown (the solution), the next dropdown (the solution responsible) is automatically filled-out.

However, it doesn't have to be by using two dropdowns if there is a smarter way of doing it? Maybe you only need to use one dropdown and have information from both the columns shown there, or maybe you can suggest an even better solution?

I look very much forward to hearing from all of you experts :-)

Thank you so much in advance!

Br,

Christopher
