Thanks for the quick reply -- I did see the checkboxes to remove the functionality entirely, but I do want to allow them to save locally which is what makes this a little more difficult. It's just that I don't want them to be able to save to the SharePoint form library specifically. I'm not sure if it's a matter of coding in the "Save" function to throw an error message if the path is SharePoint (if that's even possible?) or if there's something easier?

Re: Restrict "Save As" to SharePoint form library but allow Submit?

I think under Form Options > Web Browser you can select and deselect Ribbon options (thus removing the Save As option). You can also restrict saving for filler forms under save options.

Restrict "Save As" to SharePoint form library but allow Submit?

Hi all,

Is there a way to stop someone from manually saving a form using "File" "Save As" to save to the SharePoint form library? It's fine if they want to save locally to their desktop, but I don't want them to be able to save directly to the form library. I have buttons with specific code set to run which triggers the Submission, but if someone uses "Save As" and saves their form back to the form library it bypasses all of the code.
