Do the 2013 machines have all Office updates installed? What version of IE? Is the site in the compatibility view? It is being opened by users in InfoPath 2010 and 2013. The users who are receiving the error have upgraded to Office 2013 (InfoPath 2013)

Form is: InfoPath 2010 Form Filler

The form is and was working fine when submitted in InfoPath 2010. For users who got the upgrade, submitting the form in InfoPath 2013 causes issues. For testing, I have now created a new blank form with nothing but a submit button. This submits to the document library which stores the template. It is the only data connection. When trying to submit a form in 2013, we are prompted for username/password. Click cancel, and the following error: "InfoPath cannot submit the form. An error occurred while the form was being submitted. The form cannot be submitted to the following location: [Location]. The site may be offline, read-only, or otherwise unavailable. The parameter is incorrect."

I have quadruple checked all the permissions. Users have adequate permissions to submit forms. And besides, it works in 2010 for the same people. I have also cleared IE cache, InfoPath cache and turned off compatibility view. The SharePoint site is included in trusted sites.

What could be causing this? What changed behind the functionality InfoPath submit in 2013 from 2010? Please note that I do not have access to alter webconfig, registry keys, no access to IIS or Central Admin. However, keep in mind the form works in 2010 and only breaks for users who have received the 2013 upgrade. Thanks in advance.
