In the manifest, there are two places to look - xsf:listProperties has a fields node that will list the form fields, and assign them a GUID. Then xsf2:listPropertiesExtension has a fieldsExtension node that associates the form field GUIDs with the SharePoint column GUIDs - at least in 2010 and 2013. I think this is also the case in 2007, but don't know about 2003.

Find InfoPath promoted fields

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if there is a way to find the promoted fields to SharePoint library by looking at the InfoPath source files (like manifest.xsf)?

Please let me know if you think of any other way?

The reason I am asking is I have a legacy InfoPath from given to me from Production Environment (I have no access to prod) and I am trying to figure out which fields were promoted as columns to SharePoint library. Thanks in advance!
