https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/46.aspx For questions concerning issues in the integration of SharePoint and Microsoft InfoPath.enCommunityServer 2007 SP3 (Build: 31118.962)https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/102933.aspxWed, 24 Jun 2015 15:51:41 GMT033a2e2d-04e2-4a9d-be01-a4634161eefd:102933dsmith450https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/102933.aspxhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=46&PostID=102933<p>Hi, I have created a form for use with our company&#39;s purchasing department that requires&nbsp;the submitter to select a name from&nbsp;the person-picker, and then select a department from a&nbsp;pull-down list.&nbsp; After the submitter selects the person&nbsp;using the person-picker and the value&nbsp;fills in from AD, and then selects the Department in the next drop-down, the&nbsp;name selected in the person-picker disappears and they have to re-select it.&nbsp; They&#39;re telling me that they don&#39;t like this behaviour and want it fixed.</p><p>In&nbsp;Preview Mode,&nbsp;the form does not do this - it only does it after the form has been published.&nbsp;I&#39;ve moved my lines around a couple of times, and have stopped using a Section for the department but it still has this post-published problem.</p><p>I&#39;m using InfoPath 2010 Developer&nbsp;to create the form, and publishing it to a document library in SharePoint 2013.</p><p>Is there is a way of fixing this?&nbsp; Has anyone heard of this strange anomaly?</p><p>Thanks to anyone who can help.&nbsp; I&#39;m desperate for a solution.</p><p>Dan</p>
