Lookup columns can cause the issues that you are describing. When the 2DS repeating group is drug onto the form, you will see that the 3 lookup columns come through with the value of the ShPID, not the text that you are looking for.

I would try creating data connections to each of the lookup lists, and instead of setting the values of the 3 fields, individually set the query value of ID, to the value of the column that matches the current delivery selection, and hen query for data and set the values.

Let me know if you need more help!
Bre

Numbers display instead of text values

Hi,

I have created several SP lists: "Building," "City," and "State"

They feed into another list called "Deliveries" through 3 corresponding lookup columns building, city, and state.

I then have an InfoPath drop down list control (Deliveries) that pulls it's information from the "Deliveries" sharepoint list.

On the InfoPath form, when a user makes a selection from the "Deliveries" drop down, it is supposed to populate the information into 3 fields on the IP form called, you guessed it, "building," "city," and "state" however, IP displays numeric values rather than the text values contained in SharePoint. From what I have read, I believe the values correspond to the ID of each list item.

I am not designing this for myself, otherwise I would not be using the lookup fields. I am trying to design this so that changes can be made from the original lists and then show up everywhere else without the user having to enter any list settings.

Information on a better way to accomplish this would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
