Visual Studio 2012 disables Source Control for Project Type VSTA and VstaProjects moves code, which sheds light on why code is copied to the below folder structure,

C:\Users\rcranney\AppData\Local\Temp\Vsta\InfoPath\VstaX9lrOWJ3ikGMWhNe2Tj3dQ\VstapWmwiOeKtEuk3x6bxS__R5g

instead of using the code found in

C:\Users\rcranney\Documents\InfoPath Projects\ABRT

I have yet to figure out the Algorithm used to create the temp folders, or where the expected folder structure info is stored...

My next step (based on info from above bug) is to recreate the project, copy in all my code, references, app.config, etc, and confirm that VSTA will consistently open & close as long as the last build was successful...

I am vexed with the below issue... Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have an InfoPath 2010 form that I need to be able to develop.... I had to upgrade to InfoPath 2013, because I needed to be able to change the target .Net framework to 3.5, because some of the code I need, will not work with .Net Framework 2.0.

I have installed the following items:

Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013

Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2012

Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 (I had to downgrade because for some inexplicable reason VSTA did not work with VS 2013 :( )

When I open a InfoPath 2010 form with code in InfoPath 2013, after the first time, I get the following Error: The System cannot find the path specified.

I have confirmed that the projection location and it seems correct i.e. C:\Users\rcranney\Documents\InfoPath Projects\ABRT\ABRT.csproj

When I execute some code from the form, I get the below error ... Not sure why it references a folder in my temp directory... it's not the path I have specified.

System.FormatException
The string '' is not a valid Boolean value.
    .at System.Xml.XmlConvert.ToBoolean(String s)
    .at System.Xml.Schema.XmlUntypedConverter.ToBoolean(String value)
    .at System.Xml.XPath.XPathNavigator.get_ValueAsBoolean()
    .at Intel_ABRT.FormCode.btnCreate_Task_Clicked(Object sender, ClickedEventArgs e) in c:\Users\rcranney\AppData\Local\Temp\Vsta\38b1ac63917c4ae69aef8fc06116300b\FormCode.cs:line 2518
    .at Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Internal.ButtonEventHost.OnButtonClick(DocActionEvent pEvent)
    .at Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath.SemiTrust._ButtonEventSink_SinkHelper.OnClick(DocActionEvent pEvent)

Anyway, I would appreciate any suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance...
