I do not believe that you need code to do this at least in 2010 I believe this to be true. On the Data ribbon item or form options you can navigate to form submit options. There are several options, one of the being a web service and another being web (http). maybe this will help you.

"Save as" in Infopath 2010

Hello,
first, sorry for my English!
second, my situation:
I'm just starting to use Infopath, for years I've been using Access and VBA but I'm not a developer and I cannot understand how to work in Visual Studio Tools using vb code.
third, my question:
What I would like to do: I don't use Sharepoint, I want to save a fulfilled form in a defined path in my company network.
I've added a button on my template and started Visual Studio. I've searched and found some code in the web, tried to use it but without success. Something like this:

Public Sub SaveButton_Clicked(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As ClickedEventArgs)

thisxdocument.saveas("mypath/myfile.xml")

        End Sub

The error alert is: thisxdocument is not defined. Then I discovered XDocument was for Infopath 2003. Tried to use XmlForm, but same error.
I tried to use Application.XmlForm.saveas but always same error (Application not defined, XmlForm not defined) and moreover "saveas" is not a method. It seems it does not recognise any object...
What I should do? Please, help me!
Thanks in advance
