We have often thought about adding some functions to qRules to handle conversion. Maybe we will in the future. In the meantime, you wilol have to write some code using .NET to get the current timezone and do the conversion. I suggest going to MSDN and searching for some .NET code.

If you'd like to have one of our MVPs do this for you, we'd be happy to write the code and give you the source but we will need to get paid for our time. I'm guessing an hour should be sufficient. Here's a link to our Support page where you can buy an hour of support. http://www.qdabra.com/webstore/category/4-support-consultation.aspx

Thanks!

InfoPath TimeZone Conversion Code

I'm looking for assistance for the following:

I've created a time of receipt date picker field in InfoPath that stores the date and time when a form was submitted.

I'm looking to create custom code in the button that converts the time of receipt (Time Only) and converts that time to CST time.

I will get many requests via InfoPath from EST, PST, MTD etc though the reason for this is to then calculate whether the request was handled within SLA.

If a request is sent at 4pm est, i will add 1 day to the Date Received field to check against SLA.

I think I'm ok with the SLA calculation, its the converting of time to CST is the issue.
Thank you.
