Thanks for the responces.

That set the field name but it doesn't automatically add a new row when the form is open.

Try setting the default value of that field to "userName()". Be sure to uncheck Refresh value when formula is recalculated.

Hello,

I am fairly new to the coding infopath forms and need some help

I want to set a form up where every time a specific user role open the form it add a row to a repeating table and populates the first column of that row with the username.
