There might be a simpler way - just add error messages to the error board via code and display this in a debug view.

If that doesn't help you diagnose the problem I suggest calling Microsoft Support to get the skinny on debugging IPFS.

We have done this before, but we try to stay away from it. It's not an easy thing to do.

The source was not found, but some or all event logs could not be searched. I have been researching this for a while and the only fix that I can find is adding ASPNET user to the admin group on my machine and giving the ASPNET user read and write rights to the event log registry key and subkeys and doing a reboot.I have tried this to no avail, and have also tried giving this user Full Control in the event log registry key, still no go.

Does anyone know how to fix this error other than what I have already tried?

Thanks very much, your assistance is much appreciated.
