You're in Lynnwood eh! I grew up in Mountlake Terrace. Small world. OK, so the XSN file has a data connection that calls some SharePoint Web Service to get the user's information (login, etc.). You can make the data connection a UDC file and use it for all of your XSNs. The XSN is the solution manifest and it defines the data connection for all XMLs. You can use SharePoint's Web Service to get the FBA info (via code). Another alternative is our Active Directory Web Service.

Not sure if this is much help...

Use 1 solution file for multiple forms

Hello all!

I am using Form Base Authentication on our SharePoint site. I have a solution file that will pull the logged in users ID, email and name into the form. Is it possible to use this solution file for all my forms or do I need to edit the specific file for each and make all the references.

I know this probably sounds like a really easy question, but thought I might as well ask.

Brav
