Here's the link to our Modify PI Tool for InfoPath. It will let you bulk-update all your XML processing instructions. The tool comes with a documentation in case you get stuck. Here's a blog post that details the steps on how to use it as well.

Don't hesitate to post back if you need further assistance with the tool.

Cheers!

Re: Archiving infopath forms, but no templates?

We have a PI Edit Tool that will let you automatically move forms from one server to another. It fixes up the Processing Instruction in the form that tells it where the template is. Of course, the template must also be archived and that's the address you'll want to use. I've sent e-mail to others on our team to reply with the link.

Archiving infopath forms, but no templates?

I have thousands of Infopath .xml forms which I need to archive. The form template is on a server. The server is to be decommissioned so the template will no longer exist at that location.
<br>
How will a user be able to open an archived form if the template does not exist? I tested this and I was not able to open the form (and I cannot rely on the Infopath cache).
<br>
Is there anyway to do this? If the template is provided to the user can they open the form then?
