What code are you using to enumerate? Its most likely a problem there. The whitespace should not be affecting you if your XPath is set up correctly.

WhiteSpace between XML tags and TextNodes

If anyone could advise me on what could be happening here and how to programmatically deal with it, it would be appreciated. I have made a form from the schema construct below and I am trying to perform an enumeration of it. The code works as planned and allows me to iterate through the list; however, text nodes are getting introduced where there is whitespace between XML nodes. During the iteration using nodeName.ToString() method, the text nodes show as #text. When I get rid of the whitespace between the elements, there are no more text nodes. I have tried setting the DOM preservewhitespace property to false, but to no avail. <mainbody infopath related namespaces > <section> <admin_data> </admin_data> <para > </para> </section> </mainbody>

Thanks
