A child is created automatically with each parent.

If you use webservices you can free yourself from this behavior.

You can sometimes hide the children in the view, so that even though it is there, it is not seen by the user if that can work.

Repeating section

Good afternoon I am in need of some help:

I have two tables that are related in such a way that a one to one relationship exists.

When I enter a record in the parent table, it autocreates a record in my child table. Now, in the form view both records show but I may only need one record in the child, even though I have two records in the parent. Is there anyway to control the child repeating section so that it only shows records that the user will insert via the menu.

Thanks!
