A new form.When i edit code or add any event, it will prompt "Access is denied".

I can't upload the image of error message, the full content is : InfoPath cannot add the event handler. Access is denied.

I guess there are the problem of security, but i have no mind how to resolve this issue.

Are these issues present on a brand new form / project or trying to use an exisitng form?

Is it VSTO SE that you have installed or the older VSTO? That will make a difference.

You should also verify that you have all options of InfoPath installed. There's a needed component for doing VSTO that is not installed by default, you have to do a custom installed and check the box for that missing component.

Other than that, I'm at a loss to help you. You can try doing a repair of Office.

Yse, my account is in the administrator group, i using WinXP, and the VS2005 using the same account.

Another question is whether you are starting VS in admin mode (if using Windows Vista).

Hi all,

I am a novice, I have an issue I need fixing. When i edit code or add any event, it will prompt "Access is denied". I had setup VSTA(EN) , VS 2005(EN), VSTO(EN).

I didn't find the root cause, can you help, thanks a lot.
