Using .NET you can get into the application and probably can control the frames--but again, it will require full trust, so you might as well use a modal dialog at that point.

Re: Custom HTML Window

Greg,

Again thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same thing with the custom task pane. The only issue I can see is the limited view. I looked into the SDK to look how to take control of the task pane to move it and make the window larger programatically however I could not find anything. Is this possible? It is starting to sound like I need to move into using the .Net toolkit and fully trusted forms.

Thanks

Re: Custom HTML Window

You can use a hyperlink to open a URL... but it sounds like you want a custom window. There is the modal dialog -- but that requires full trust.

However, you might be able to use the Task Pane -- that uses straight HTML, but might be a little narrow for your needs, though the user can stretch it out wider.

Custom HTML Window

Hello,

I have created an XSL that transform the InfoPath form to html for a preview. I want to add a button to the form to allow the user to view the preview. Is there a way to show an html popup window using JScript? I am trying to avoid making a full-trusted form. I am also using InfoPath 2003.

Thanks
