You'll have to debug that. As for the security level, as Shilpa states, there is a setting in the manifest.xsf that you need to make sure you generate. Automatic will be domain for WinXP and that will work if you open the form from a website, but not from your local computer. Manual, will require specifying Domain. You don't want Restricted nor do you want Full Trust. Domain requires that you run from a website and not from a local machine. If you have to run locally, you'll want to create an MSI using regform.exe tool that ships with InfoPath SDK or sign the XSN with a digital certificate that is trusted by the clients. Good luck!

Re: Form cannot be opened because (permission)

When I generate my form programatically (from C#) I can specify the security level to be manual or automatic. I get an error saying that a schema cannot be used. Nothing more specific. However, I can open the document in fill-out mode. I can open the XSF file directly and it works OK, however, when I open the XSN file, I recieve the above error stating I need domain permission and all I have are restricted. In 2003 I think I could have fixed this with runnin FormReg.exe. However in 2007 I don't know how to approach this. Any idea perhaps? Maybe I should try a different attribute value for permission instead of automatic?

Thanks guys, for the help!

Regards,
Anže
