The work flow of the form is as follows...

1. Users fill out form - submit
2. Authorized group goes in - reviews form gives an approval (using sharepoint content approval system)
3. User should be able to go back and read his own form, and edit at anytime (no other user should be able to read/edit)

My thoughts/assumptions:
-Create customer sharepoint view to filter by users form - peice of cake, already did this

-Remove explorer view so users cannot edit form in notepad

-store users id in form in hidden field, valid when they open form, that they match the creator id, if not close form and alert user of permission issue.

- user edits their form, the form goes back to pending state and the process starts again - sharepoint keeps version history of form.

Areas I need help....

I have create an empty database with public access using windows auth. I select the username and bind it to a txt field. This gives me the creator.

Questions...

How do I take this field thats binded to my secondary data source and store in form field.

How do I then reference binded field and check against creator field store in form - I just dont know how to reference secondary binded source field.

I tried a bunch of stuff - can you help...
