What language are you using? For JScript, try this:

var nlChildren = XDocument.DOM.selectNodes( "/root/Parent/Children" );
nlChildren.removeAll();

Thank you Patrick, never the less the question here is why line of code delete all childs of a parent node?
or maybe is neccessary delete item by item in a cicle?

Hi Fred,
You can write some code to clear them. You might also be able to add some rules, but my hunch is that you will need to write some code.
