The book describes how to build an MSI for each machine. Sorry for the confusion. Chapter 8 (not 6) describes how to create the MSI for a given CAS policy. For the SMS stuff (setting policy), you'll want to check MSDN.

Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP]
InfoPathDev

Re: CAS and fully trust form

Thanks for an answer, i will check this cas policy for all machines, when i get your book.

Re: CAS and fully trust form

Yes. Don't do it. Use a Web service if you need domain-name. Or, you could set a CAS policy for all machines. There is a cas problem with userdomainname (with only username there is no problem). I've read about fully trusted forms, and i assume, that the only way to make a form fully trusted is to make an install of it. I'm a little terrified: if in my firm there are 300 computers, will i be forced to install this form on each computer? Isn't there a way to do something only on my server?Without 'touching' clients computers?
