A user fills out an IT account requests and indicated their location in one of 50 offices. Each office has unique set of account authorizers. The forms are submitted to a SharePoint Services library. I need to program OnClick, OnSaveRequest, and OnOpen events that use vb.net to looks up information residing in an Access database located on a network share. As I understand it, I need to use the DataObject collection to access a secondary data source. I am looking for an example of how to query an ADO secondary data source using vb.net.

For the record, I am new to Visual Studio; my background is in scripting large scale deployments and conversions using login scripting tools like Kixtart.

M Kuhn
