Set an expression rule on a data connection to filter help?

I need to place a filter with this trigger:

if Item "#" is blank

where # is any number. I have 30 items, most will usually be blank and I dont want them showing up. however the way the list is structured on ishare, it is one big row with 120 icolumns, so I cant just do a single category, and I dont want to put a rule on 120 fields manually

I tried Item \d and Item "\d" but both gave errors

How do I accomplish this?
