Dropdown choices being overwritten by chosen value, how do I stop it?

I have a dropdown that checks an ishare list. Based on the list, it fills in a repeating table.

However, when I pick between Choices 1 2 and 3, this happens:

Pick 2 from dropdown, go back to dropdown(like i picked the wrong one by accident/changed mind), the dropdown has replaced all the choices with 2 the options went from being <blank> 123 to <blank>222

My procedure:

Dropdown draws from ishare list>picked value sets the dataconnection choice title>populate choice attributes in repeating table

So out of 3 i pick 2, this sets the Choice_Title to "2" in the secondary data connection. For somereason, this makes infopath think all the choices are now 2, what happening?
